Frequently asked questions

How do I resize an image without losing quality?
Making an image smaller is essentially lossless — you are discarding pixels you no longer need. Quality problems come from enlarging, or from saving at a low JPG quality. Keep the aspect ratio locked and choose PNG or WEBP if you need the sharpest possible result.
What size should my image be?
It depends on where it will be used. Instagram posts are 1080×1080, YouTube thumbnails 1280×720, and a full-width website hero is usually 1920×1080. The quick presets set these for you.
Will resizing change the aspect ratio?
Only if you want it to. With “Lock aspect ratio” checked, entering a width fills in the matching height automatically so the image never looks stretched. Uncheck it to force exact dimensions.
Is there a file size limit?
Uploads are capped at 10MB per image, and the minimum dimension is 16×16 pixels.
Are my images stored on your servers?
No. Images are processed in memory and deleted the moment your download is sent. They are never written to disk or shared.
